1 - What is the ERMO group's business ?
The ERMO group specialises in the design and manufacture of injection moulds.
2 - Does ERMO manufacture all its moulds in France ?
Yes, we control the whole production process (from design to the mould testing centre) in our four factories in France.
Only the blanks can be made in our factory in Poland.
3 - What is the average lead-time for manufacturing a mould ?
The lead-time depends on the technical difficulty and complexity of the mould. On average it takes between 6 and 8 weeks for prototype moulds or for moulds with a small number of cavities (2 or 4 cavities).
For multi-cavity moulds (6-8-12-24-36-64 and more), the lead-time may vary between 12 to 20 weeks.
4 - What is the average price of a mould ?
To give a quotation, we need the following information :
- the number of cavities in the mould
- the design of the part to be produced
- the type of steel
- the type of injection required
All this information is essential for us to give you a quotation based on your individual requirements.
5 - Does ERMO have offices in America ?
We have a sales office in Montreal (Canada). Our partner, EXACAD provides maintenance and after-sales service. This local office is very important for our customers in North and South America.
6 - Can you manufacture parts from our drawings ?
Yes, we can also manufacture parts from your drawings on demand, particularly in high precision machining.
7 - Are you able to repair a mould made by one of your competitors ?
Yes, of course. Just send us your moulds or mould components so that we can repair them.
We have a maintenance service and two testing centres.
8 - Has ERMO got a testing centre ?
The group has two testing centres with 14 injection moulding machines (mono and bi-component) from 30T to 550T.
9 - Can you help us with design ?
Project teams within the group offer solutions and support with the design.
10 - Can you assist your customers with commissioning the mould on their site ?
We can give a quotation for providing assistance with commissioning up the mould in the customer's factory on demand.
Someone from the ERMO group will come to help you with commissioning the mould on site.
